When the instrument is used normally, it should be standardized regularly, usually for a week. If the test data is stable, the normalization cycle can be extended appropriately. However, in any of the following situations, the instrument must be standardized, otherwise the test accuracy may be affected.
1. After spectral correction.
2. After moving the instrument. Due to the change of laboratory or factory site, the direct reading spectrometer may need to be transferred. In order to ensure the accuracy of the test, it is necessary to re-standardize the operation after the transfer.
3. After cleaning the lens. Prolonged use will lead to dirt on the lens, which will require re-normalization of the instrument after cleaning the lens.
4. After cleaning the excitation table or replacing the electrodes, it is recommended that the customer re-normalize.
