Product introduction:

Fabric Fiber Fluff Tester / Fluff Abrasion Tester (also known as the Toyota Leather Perforation Tester) is a single-station abrasion tester designed to test TIS 01208-00F21 materials. The device is used to evaluate the wear resistance of individual samples. The cycle rate is 70 CPM (adjustable), with a 20 mm wide working amplitude.

 

Operating Principle:

Fabric fiber lint tester / lint abrasion tester According to the specified method and experimental parameters, use a disposable nylon brush or abrasive, rub and pill the substance. vThen, under the specified lighting conditions, test the sample after pilling to evaluate the pilling level.

Features of fiber fluff:

1. High strength, short fiber strength is 2.6-5.7cN/dtex, high strength fiber is 5.6-8.0cN/dtex. Due to the low hygroscopicity, the wet strength is basically the same as the dry strength. The impact resistance is 4 times higher than that of nylon and 20 times higher than that of viscose fiber.

2. Good elasticity. Its elasticity is close to that of wool and when stretched 5% to 6% it can recover almost completely. Its wrinkle resistance exceeds other fibers, that is, the fabric does not wrinkle and has good dimensional stability. The modulus of elasticity is 22-141cN/dtex, which is 2-3 times higher than nylon.

3. Good heat resistance.

4. The surface of polyester is smooth, the internal molecules are close to each other, and there is no hydrophilic structure between the molecules, so the moisture recovery is very small and the moisture absorption is poor.

5. Good wear resistance. Abrasion resistance is second only to nylon with better abrasion resistance and is better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers.

6. Good lightfastness. Lightfastness is second only to acrylic.

7. Corrosion resistance. Resistant to bleaches, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids. Dilute alkali resistance, not afraid of mildew, but hot alkali can make it decompose.

8. The paint properties are poor.
