KOBOLD Electromagnetic Flow Meter Precautions for Technical Operation

The working principle of the KOBOLD electromagnetic flowmeter shows that in order for formula (3) to be valid, the first condition to be met is uniform and constant. To ensure that the induced electromotive force E has a linear relationship with the volume flow rate Q, it is necessary to choose an appropriate excitation method, that is, the method of generating a magnetic field. Generally, there are three excitation methods to choose from , namely DC excitation, AC excitation, and low-frequency excitation wave excitation.

Interference suppression and elimination

Since this system must be used in an adverse life environment, anti-interference and reliability have high requirements, so in the process of system development and design, improving the system anti-interference and reliability will be regarded as important content. Tothe characteristics of the general electromagnetic flowmeter system, it is mainly discussed from the hardware optimization aspect, such as electromagnetic coupling and electrostatic induction, which are major sources of interference noise generated by electromagnetic flowmeters. Since the connecting wires of the two electrodes are in the alternating magnetic field in the electromagnetic current transmission, when the transmission is turned on, an induced electromotive force is generated in the closed loop of the connecting wires. This interference signal is superimposed on the measurement signal and influences the operation of the system. Different excitation methods will cause different electromagnetic interference problems. The DC excitation method is sensitive to polarization interference, and the AC excitation method is sensitive to orthogonal interference (90-degree interference), in-phase interference(i.e. power frequency interference), etc. Since AC excitation is often used in practical applications, the following mainly describes the interference problems and suppression in AC excitation.

KOBOLD electromagnetic flow meter refers to the instrument used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquid according to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. It can measure the fluid flow under the conditions of laminar flow, turbulent flow, pulsatile flow and streamlined vibration. Due to its smooth flow tube, small pressure loss, wide measuring range, high accuracy, sensitive response, and can obtain a signal proportional to the flow rate, and its straight measuring tube, it is easy to clean and sterilize, so it is used in special hygiene. It is widely used in pharmaceutical and food industries that require it.
