Martindale Abrasion Tester can test the abrasion resistance and pilling performance of fabrics with different textures. The sample is subjected to continuous low-pressure reverse rubbing with a certain friction material, and the degree of wear and pilling can be compared with the standard parameters for evaluation. The instrument uses a movable sample attachment component, which can remove a certain friction sample at any time without affecting other samples. It not only realizes the fast and independent detection of the sample, but also ensures the accuracy of the simultaneous measurement of friction. It is a fixing method approved by BSEN ISO12947-1:1999. Test procedure Martindale Abrasion Tester:
1. The sample is parked in the laboratory environment for more than 8 hours. 2. Cut a piece of sample from the flat part of the sample. If it is an insole, thethey are cut to the transfer printing area.
3. Remove the load and load shaft from the test machine.
4. Remove the top plate and test fixture. 5. Sample device: Loosen the fixing ring on the test fixture, take out the sample compact, put the sample into the test fixture base, and put a piece of sample between the sample and the test fixture base gasket, then put the sample gland on the sample seal and fix it with a fixing ring.
6. Wool felt and cleaning cloth device: Loosen the fixing screw and fixing ring, place the wool felt on the base and spread the cleaning cloth over it. Press the 2.5 kg pressure plate in the center of the wiping cloth, replace the fixing ring and tighten the fixing screw fixed.
7. Replace the top plate, insert the load shaft (12KPa) through the round hole on the top plate. 8. Place the test fixture with the sample facing down on the base fixture, adjust the circleel-shaped groove of the test fixture so that it is aligned with the load axis and insert the load axle into the circular groove of the test fixture. 9. Set the number of times according to the standard, start the switch and start the test.
10. After reaching the set number of times, it will automatically stop and remove the sample to determine the result.

Precautions:
1. The friction cloth cannot be used repeatedly, and a friction cloth must be replaced each time a test is completed.
2. Wool felt can be used repeatedly until the surface is worn or stained.
3. The insole must first be dressed and then subjected to the Martindale abrasion test.
