Analysis of the combustion test principle for automobile interior ISO 3795 and European directives or FMVSS 302 Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 302 (USA), have specified flame resistance requirements for materials used in the body of the automobile. car.
The test is carried out in a metal test chamber which protects the specimens from drafts. The internal dimensions of this cabinet are 381mm in length, 203mm in width and 356mm in height. It has a glass viewing window on the front, a door that can be closed by inserting the sample holder and a tube that can accommodate a gas lamp.
The test sample is inserted into two matching metal U-shaped structure fixing brackets, and the sample size is 25mm wide and 10mm high. The size of the U bracket is 51mm wide and 330mm long.
The burned, softened and folded samples, theirt held horizontally by supports made of fine, heat-resistant wire.
The Bunsen burner used has a vertical tube with an inner diameter of 10 mm and a height of 38 mm, and a gas control valve is installed on the lamp to control the flame. The sample is placed horizontally on a support, the front side directly under the flame.
The burning rate is calculated from experience. Generally speaking, this test is widely used and used by automobile manufacturers as an international standard.
ISO3795 and European Directive or FMVSS302 Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 302
ISO3795 and European Directive or FMVSS302 Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 302, in the United States) specify requirements for resistance to flames for materials used in automobile compartments. .
The test is carried out in a metal test chamber which pprotects the test pieces from air currents. The internal dimensions of this cabinet are 381mm in length, 203mm in width and 356mm in height. It has a glass viewing window on the front, a door that can be closed by inserting the sample holder and a tube that can accommodate a gas lamp.

Test principle:
When the sample is fixed horizontally on the U-shaped holder, after igniting the free end of the sample with a flame of a specified height in the combustion box for 15 s, determine the flame on the sample. If it is off, or when it is off, as well as the distance of the sample and the time it takes to burn the distance. Sample size: The thickness of the workpiece is taken as the minimum thickness of the workpiece is not more than 13mm, if the thickness of the workpiece is more than 13mm, the mechanical method is used to take 13mm , except FMVSS 302 (356mm*102mm). )Others are 356mm x 100mm
The test sample is inserted into two matching metal U-shaped structure fixing brackets, and the sample size is 25mm wide and 10mm from above. The size of the U bracket is 51mm wide and 330mm long.
The burned, softened and folded samples are held horizontally by supports made of fine, heat-resistant wires. The Bunsen burner used has a vertical tube with an inner diameter of 10 mm and a height of 38 mm. and a gas regulating valve on the lamp to control the flame. The sample is placed horizontally on a support, the front side directly under the flame.
The burning rate is calculated from experience. Generally speaking, this test is widely used and used by automobile manufacturers as an international standard.
This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for the characteristicshorizontal combustion of automotive interior materials. This standard applies to the evaluation of the horizontal combustion characteristics of automotive interior materials.
Sample size provided by customer:
Surface material: 2 meters or specified size

Inner layer material:
L size and quantity \'sample: 102mm × 356mm × actual thickness (the thickness of the sample actually used in automobiles, but not greater than 13mm, if it is greater than 13mm, it should be cut into 13mm.) At least 5 samples. If there are different burning rates in different directions, they must be in different directions. At least 5 specimens should be sampled in each direction. If the material size does not meet the test requirements, make a sample that meets the test requirements.

Judgment requirements:
(1) The sample does notdoes not burn, or the horizontal burning speed of the flame on the sample does not exceed 102 mm/min
(Note: When the surface of the sample is cut, then this judgment requirement does not apply not to test the burning speed of the horizontal flame of the surface,);
(2) From the test duration, if the sample burns for less than 60 seconds, it will stop burning and, from the moment of recording, from this position, if the damaged length of the sample does not exceed 51 mm, it is considered to meet the requirements of FMVSS302. (Note: The starting position of timing is 38mm from the ignition end, and timing starts when the fire reaches this position)
Considering the actual situation of various automobile interior parts ( par. of application of parts, methods of installation, conditions of use, sources of ignition, etc.) and the specified test conditions dyears of this standard. This standard is not suitable for evaluating all actual combustion characteristics of automobile interior materials in vehicles.
