Applicable scope:

The geotextile vertical permeability performance tester (highway standard) is a horizontal constant head tester designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the newly released JTG E50-2006 Test Code for Geosynthetic Materials in Highway Engineering by the Ministry of Transportation. It is suitable for testing the vertical permeability performance of various geotextiles and composite geotextiles with permeability under constant head.

Principle Overview:

The velocity of water flowing perpendicular to the plane of geotextile under unit hydraulic gradient (mm/s)
