Applicable scope:

This instrument can perform wear tests such as flat grinding, curved grinding, edge grinding, folded edge grinding, frost resistance, edge closing, and pilling. It can be used for woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, coated fabrics, plush fabrics, socks, felt, non-woven fabrics, deep fabrics, yarn, string plastic films, rubber, leather, paper, and other materials. The tested sample can be in a dry state or immersed in water, oil, or other liquids.

Working principle:

Install the sample and abrasive on the fixture of the instrument, load the specified load, and test the sample at the specified stroke and speed. After a certain number of tests, check the wear condition of the sample or test the number of times the sample is ground (worn through) to evaluate the wear resistance and surface pilling of the sample, providing reference for improving the fabric process.

Install the sample on the fixture of the instrument, load it with the specified load, and use standard abrasives (such as metal wire mesh, diamond sand, etc.) to rub the sample a certain number of times at the specified stroke and speed to check its color change.

Product details:

This instrument mainly consists of a control system and a friction system. Install the sample onto the fixture and tighten it. Lower the upper fixture containing sandpaper, adjust the position of the weights to make contact between the sandpaper and the surface of the sample, set the friction frequency of the sample through the control system, and start the instrument. Move the base of the lower fixture forward and backward to make the sample and sandpaper rub against each other. When the number of movements reaches the set value, the instrument stops and the sample is taken down to observe its degree of wear. Suitable for testing the wear performance and wear resistance of various fabrics, including clothing, shoes, and industrial textiles.
