Testing process:

1. Sample production:

(1) Pre-treatment: If pre-treatment is required, the sample can be washed or dry-cleaned according to the method agreed upon by both parties. (Pretreatment is recommended to protect the friction surface of the pillbox and the sample tube from residual lubricants orfinishes on the fabric)

(2) Cut 4 samples from the fabric sample, the size is 125mm*125mm, and another piece of fabric sample of the same size is cut as a comparison sample required for evaluation. 2 samples are folded inwards along the longitudinal front and 2 samples are folded inwards along the transverse front and sewn with a sewing machine at a distance of 12 mm from the edge.

(3) Turn the suture sample over, front side facing out. Cut 6mm ports on both ends of the sample tube to eliminate seam distortion. Place the sample on the polyurethane sample loading tube and secure it with PVC tape (ensure that 6mm of both ends of the polyurethane are exposed and thetape length should not exceed 1.5 times the circumference of the polyurethane tubing).

2. Testing steps:

(1) Clean the pilling box;

(2) Put 4 sets of planting tubes into the box, close the box cover tightly and dial the counter for the required number of rotations;

(3)Preset number of rotations, number of chords, if no chord, coarse cloth is turned over at 7200 rpm, and the fine imitation fabric is turned over at 14400 rpm;

(4) Start the pilling box, after the test, take out the sample, take out the suture, and evaluate the \'sample.

3. Evaluation of the level of pilling:

Under the standard light source, compare the rating with the standard sample, that is, several evaluators compare the sample with the standard sample in the evaluation box According to the comparative analysis, take the result as the level of pilling of the sample. methode of the sample photo adopts five grades, which are 1 to 5 respectively. The smaller the grade, the greater the pilling and the better the anti-pilling performance.
