The 16S-150 Photobiological Sun Simulator is a 150 watt simulator that can output only UVA, UVA+UVB, and visible light. This feature allows for an optional dimension for studying the carcinogenic effects caused by ultraviolet radiation.

The output intensity of the 16S-150 photobiological solar simulator can be controlled by the power supply. The entire intensity ranges from 500 to 700 J/m2 per minute, but the intensity can be lowered to 1 J/m2 per minute. Sun simulators are widely used in testing laboratories, meeting the latest ASTM, COLIPA, JCIA, ISO, and FDA standard spectral irradiance. It can also be used as a 300 watt simulator. The 16S solar simulator accurately replicates the ultraviolet rays of the sun and complies with the latest ASTM standards for laboratory light sources, including G151 and G155 standards.

In the configuration of ultraviolet radiation, eliminate visible and infrared light output. The level of ultraviolet radiation is 20-30 times stronger than tropical sunlight and can produce heat components that are not related to these high levels of light. In this way, test results of samples that have not been damaged by heat can be obtained.
