Operation Steps of Valspar G278 Abrasion Tester

G278 Valspar Abrasion Resistance Tester is a testing equipment independently developed and produced by our company Qisnun Precision Mechanical and Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. It is suitable for testing the abrasion resistance of automotive decorative and upholstery textiles and for testing fabrics against standards. Wear resistance of friction movement on curved surfaces such as friction supports or wire mesh.

Operation steps:

First: prepare the accessories and test the samples;

Open the transparent safety door of the instrument;

Lift all workstations on the instrument;

Open the instrument box cover and lift the internal key;

The experimental platform device is open;

Insert the metal mesh and secure it;

Insert the sample and tighten it;

Adjust the upper and lower weights on the station, depending on the test. If necessaryre, apply some load to the sample;

Cover the transparent security door;

Turn on the power switch of the instrument;

Set the number of frictions;

Press the start button;

The friction table swings back and forth to rub the sample;

When the set value is reached, the operation will stop automatically;

Open the transparent security door;

Loosen the upper nut and remove the sample;

At the end of the test, turn off the instrument. After the instrument test is completed, remove the sample for analysis and comparison to evaluate the wear resistance of the material.
