Needle Flame Tester Analysis

The needle flame test machine is a test equipment independently developed and produced by our company qisnun Precision Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. Welcome customers who need to inquire. It uses a needle burner of a specified size (Φ0.9mm) and passes through a specific gas (butane) burns the sample steadily and directionally at an angle of 45°, and observes whether the sample is ignited, burn time and burn length to assess the risk of small flame ignition caused by the equipment failure condition.

Preparation for the test:

1. Place the test sample, the white pine board and the tissue paper in an atmospheric environment with a temperature of 15°C to 35 °C and relative humidity of 45%-75% for 24 hours.

2. Check if the equipment and instruments meet the test requirements of this project.

3. Before the test,prepare sample information (material composition, sample structure diagram, etc.), fire hazard analysis and test records.

4. Fill in the prototype status, prototype identification content and relevant technical parameters on the test case.

Testing steps:

1. Turn on the power switch of the combustion box, adjust the duration of the test and observation time for 30s.

2. Open the combustion test door. Return the gas switch to the \"OFF\" position and confirm that the gas cylinder knob is in the \"off\" position. Due to the special safety design, if the gas switch is not set to the \"OFF\" position, the gas cylinder cannot be loaded into the furnace body.

3. When placing the gas cylinder, the valve space of the gas cylinder should be towardthe top. Note that the gas cylinder valve notch is connected to the common protrusion of the portable stove\'s air pressure sensing safety device.

4. Press the air button to the \"SET\" position. Incorrectly installed cylinders can cause butane gas to leak and produce a \"hissing\" sound. When installing the gas cylinder, it should be clearly checked that there is no sound.

5. Press the flame adjustment button on the control panel, the appliance will open the solenoid valve and ignite automatically. If the burner is not on fire, immediately click the stop button to adjust the gas flow meter and press the flame adjustment button again. There is a duckbill gauge in the accessory, and other measuring tools (such as vernier calipers, etc.) can also be used. Re-adjust the gas flow meter to stabilize the height of the flamme at 12 ± 1 mm; the flame temperature changes from 100°C±5°C to 700°C±3°C, and the test time 23.5±1.0s.

6. Press the debug button, the burner cart will run to the right limit and stop, adjust the burner to make an angle of 45° with the horizontal plane, adjust the burner and the fixture to make the distance between the burner and the bottom surface of the sample 8mm or side distance 5mm, left or right handed up/down self-resetting switch, and adjust the sample holder on the right side with the sample clamped to the standard position.

7. Tightly wrap a layer of tissue paper on a smooth white pine board about 10 mm thick and place it 200 ± 5 mm below the position of the sample d test where the needle flame is applied.

8. After the flame temperature is reached, start the test switch, observe the test sample, the parts around the sample.on and the lower layer, and record the time when the test flame is withdrawn until the flame is extinguished, either to the specimen or adjacent parts thereof or the layer of test, the combustion duration (t) at which the combustion phenomenon is no longer visible.

9. Press the reset button, the burner carriage will return to the original position on the left.

Test results:

According to the product standard requirements, if there is no product standard requirement, one of the following requirements is satisfied:

1) The test sample does not produce flame and burning phenomenon, the wrapping paper does not ignite or the white pine board does not char.

2) After removing the flame from the needle, the duration of the flame or combustion of the test sample, surrounding parts and bottom layer is less than 30s, and the parts around the scaleantillon and bottom layer did not continue to burn, and wrapping paper did not burn, and white pine boards did not char.
