The melt flow rate meter adopts an automatic sampling and balance weighing method to determine the volume flow rate (MFR) of thermoplastic melt according to the formula.

Detection principle:
The plastic melt index meter, also known as the melt flow rate meter, is a plastic extrusion device. The measured hot plastic is placed in the material barrel of the instrument. At a specified temperature, the measured material is heated in a furnace to reach a molten state, and extruded through the small holes of the standard die under a specified load. The extruded material is converted into the mass flow rate MFR (G/10MIN) of the melt passing through the standard die every 10 minutes, or the volume flow rate MNR (CM3/10MIN) of the melt passing through the standard die every 10 minutes, which represents the physical properties of the measured material such as fluidity and viscosity in the molten state.
Application scope:
Applicable to engineering plastics such as fluoroplastics and nylon, as well as plastics with lower melting temperatures such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyoxymethylene (POM), polystyrene (PS), ABS resin, polycarbonate, etc. Widely used in industries such as plastic production, plastic products, petrochemicals, and related colleges, research institutions, and inspection departments.
