The Martindale pilling tester is suitable for testing the pilling degree of fabrics such as GB/T4802.2, ASTM D4970, ISO12945-2, etc. Principle: A circular specimen is rubbed against a fabric of the same material under a given pressure using the Lissajous graphical motion trajectory. After reaching the specified number of revolutions, the pilling and pilling level of the specimen is evaluated. It is also applicable to the wear resistance test of fabrics such as GB/T13775, ASTM D4966, ISO12947, etc. The principle is that under a certain pressure, the circular fabric sample rubs against the standard abrasive according to the Lissajous curve's motion trajectory, causing the sample to be damaged. The wear resistance of the fabric is represented by the number of times the sample is damaged.

The Martindale pilling and pilling instrument is designed based on the advantages of similar instruments both domestically and internationally. It has a beautiful and elegant appearance, adopts a touch type display screen, has an easy to understand interface, and is easy to operate. The microcomputer system adopts two counting methods, which are intuitive and easy to set. Eight workstations are tested simultaneously, improving the efficiency of the test. The instrument also has two types of Lissajous 24mm x 24mm, 60.5mm x 60.5mm motion trajectories and various supporting accessories, which can adapt to various test method standards.

Applicable scope:

The Martindale fuzzing and pilling tester can test the wear resistance and pilling performance of various plants. Under a certain pressure, the sample is subjected to continuous directional friction with the designated abrasive, and the degree of wear and pilling is evaluated by comparing it with standard parameters. Touch screen control, equipped with a comprehensive programmer, capable of pre programming batches and total counts, and setting the count for each test head separately; Four speeds, including standard speed, can be selected.
