Glow Wire Tester Experiment

Author:QINSUN Released in:2023-08 Click:144

The glow wire tester is suitable for fire hazard testing of electrical and electronic products, household appliances and their materials, simulating thermal stress caused by heat sources or ignition sources such as components incandescent or overload resistors in a short time. qisnun Precision Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. The company is a manufacturer, welcome customers who need to inquire in time.

Applicable standards:

IEC60695-2-10~13, GB/T5169.10-13-2006 \"Glow wire/hot wire basic test method, test device glow-wire and general Methods of test, etc.\" ; UL746A, IEC829, DIN695, VDE0471.

Main parameters:

1. Temperature range: 500~1000℃, adjustable digital display;

2. Temperature error: ±10℃ (500 ~ 750°C), ±15°C (750~1000°C), the accuracy of the temperature measuring instrumente is ±0.5;

3. Temperature sensor: shielded thermocouple Φ0.5K, imported thermocouple;< / p>

4. Apply pressure to the sample: 0.8N ~1.2N and limit station depth to at least 7mm;

5. Timing range: in the range of 0 to 99 minutes and 99 seconds

6. It also has a timer for the burning time (Ta, usually set to 30 according to standard requirements), the second burning time (Ti) and the flame extinguishing time (Te);

7. Time error: ±1s;

8. Ignition bed Layer: 10 mm thick white pine board, covered with standard 12 g/m2 tissue paper ~ 30 g/m2, at 200 mm ± 5 mm from the incandescent wire.

Temperature Calibration:

Check the accuracy of the temperature measurement system. Single point confirmation of glow wire temperature is achieved by placing a piece of silver foilt of at least 99.8% purity, with an area of 2 mm2 and a thickness of approximately 0.06 mm on the upper surface of the top of the glow wire. The glow wire is heated at a moderately low heating rate and the thermometer should read 960°C ± 15°C when the silver foil begins to melt.
