Gas Vortex Flowmeter Problem Analysis and Troubleshooting

Author:QINSUN Released in:2023-06 Click:129

Gas vortex flow meter is a new type of flow meter based on Karman\'s vortex principle to measure fluid flow in closed pipelines. Due to its good medium adaptability, it can directly measure the volume flow of steam, air, gas, water and liquid working conditions without temperature and pressure compensation. Equipped with temperature and pressure sensors, it can measure volume flow and mass flow under standard conditions, which is an ideal replacement for flow meters.

Fault analysis and troubleshooting are as follows:

1. When the gas vortex flow meter has no output signal or the instantaneous flow rate does not is not displayed, fault analysis and troubleshooting are as follows:

1) First check whether the power supply voltage is correct.

2) If the supply voltage is correct, adjust the sensitivity potentiometer and the pomagnification tentiometer counterclockwise to the end.

3) If there is signal output, check whether the pipeline flow exceeds the measurable flow range of the vortex street.

4) If the flow is within the measurable range, it means that the sensitivity of the flow sensor head of the vortex sensor is low and the sensitivity needs to be readjusted.

2. When the gas vortex flowmeter pipeline has no flow, there is a signal output or instantaneous flow rate display, fault analysis and troubleshooting methods are the following:

1) First check and confirm the pipeline There is really no fluid flow or disturbance in the pipeline and whether the vibration intensity of the pipeline is too large.

2) Adjust the sensitivity potentiometer clockwise until there is no output signal or the instantaneous flowreturns to zero. When adjusting the potentiometer, it should be as slow as possible. When adjusting the 5 degree angle, stop for more than 10 seconds to observe if the output returns to zero.

3. When the electromagnetic flow sensor signal output is unstable or the instantaneous flow is unstable, the fault analysis and troubleshooting methods are as follows:

1) First check whether the flow of the pipeline exceeds the street of the vortex. Measurement flow range.

2) If the flow rate is within the measurable range, check whether the front and rear straight pipe sections meet the requirements. If unqualified, the straight pipe section must be rebuilt.

3) Confirm whether the process flow is a stable flow.

4) Check whether the vibration intensity of the pipeline is too large. If it is too large, you need to install a damper.
