Product Introduction

This machine is a conventional instrument for testing water absorption of paper and board, also known as it is a measuring device for measuring the weight of the paper surface. This instrument uses the Cobb test method among different methods of absorbance test, which is why it is also called the Cobb absorbance tester. It is mainly used to determine the surface water absorption of glued paper and board, including corrugated board. This instrument is designed according to the basic parameters and requirements defined in GB/T1540-2002 Determination of water absorption of paper and cardboard (Kob method). This standard applies to the determination of the water absorption of various paper or cardboard surfaces. But it is not suitable for accurately evaluating the writing performance of paper or cardboard. The relatively loose papers (zsuch as newsprint), unsized paper (such as tissue paper), and other paper with high water absorption are not suitable for this instrument.
