Brief description of the test principle

The Super Hart Fogging Tester sample is heated in the fogging cup and starts to volatilize, the volatile gas condenses on the glass plate or aluminum foil which has been cooled by the cooling chamber. After the condensation process is completed, remove the glass plate or aluminum foil, measure the atomization value or weight of the condensed components of the glass plate or aluminum foil and compare them with the data before condensation to obtain the atomization and volatilization characteristics of the sample.

Three commonly used measurement methods:

Shine method: the sample is in a misting cup. The gas evaporated by heating condenses on the glass plate at low temperature. By comparing and calculating the gloss value of the glass plate before and after condensation, the haze value of the sample can be obtained.
Mist method: the sample is heated and evaporated in the mist cup. The gas is condensed on the glass plate at low temperature. By comparing and calculating the haze value of the glass plate before and after condensation, thehaze value of the sample can be obtained.
Gravimetric method: The gas evaporated when the sample is heated in the misting cup is condensed on the aluminum foil at low temperature. By weighing the weight change of the aluminum foil before and after condensation, the atomization condensate value of the sample can be obtained. Weight.
