1. Home Textile Pilling Test

1. Test Standard:

There are currently three main standards for textile pilling test methods:

1 ) GB/T4802. 3-1997 Fabric Pilling Test Method - Pilling Box Method, test conditions, no pressure;

2) GB/T4802.2-1997 Fabric Pilling Test Method -- Martindale -Method, test conditions, under slight pressure;

3) GB/T4802.1-1997 Test Method for the fabric pilling - tr encircleack pilling, test conditions, light duty.

2. Testing instruments: Household textile pilling testing instruments are mainly divided into: rolling box pilling and snagging tester, Martindale pilling tester. There are three types of fuzzing and circular track method pilling instruments.

3. Principle of the test:

1st standard test:

There are many foreign textile pilling test standards, commonly used standards are: American Society for Testing and Materials Standard ASTM, Japanese Industrial Standards, German Standard DIN, British BS standard, ISO standard etc. .

2. Testing instruments: mainly include the following three categories:

1) Pilling box type: equivalent to household pilling Box type;

2)Random rotation type: that is, the fabric rolls in the cylinder, and the random friction generates pilling;

3) Martindale type: It has two functions for testing friction and pilling.
