Brushing resistance tester experimental speed and stroke

Author:QINSUN Released in:2023-12 Click:85

The friction resistance tester is a testing equipment independently developed and produced by our company, qisnun Precision Mechanical and Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. It is cost-effective and has comprehensive after-sales services. It is used to test the friction resistance of interior wall coverings, tiles, shower rooms and furniture surfaces, and is used for evaluation. Brushes, sponges, scouring pads, sandpaper or other methods to test the resistance of the painted surface to rubbing.

Main parameters:

1. Cleaning speed: 6 to 60 exchanges/minute;

2. Number of reciprocities: not more than 100,000;

 3. Arm load test: 4 kg (8.8 lb);

 4. Stroke length: 28 cm.

Test method:

Test method A

Thoroughly stir the coating of test to eliminate it. all bubbles and particles. HeIt is necessary to apply 3 coats for each paint. Use the same model of 0.18mm gap film coating to scrape paint off a back plastic panel. End-to-end application time is approximately 3-4 seconds to avoid bubbles or holes forming in the film. Place it horizontally in the air to dry for 7 days under the conditions of 23±2℃ and 50±5% relative humidity.

Dip the brush in the water. Place the sample plate in the scrub tester support tray. Make sure the copper strip shim is smooth, free of burrs, and oriented perpendicular to the brush path. Gently wipe the test sample plate and place it on the copper strip, painted side up. Make sure there are no defects in the sample film above the copper piece and that the test area is level. Place the positioning frame in the tray et tighten.

Before starting the test, make sure the brush has been preconditioned for 400 cycles. Remove the brush and shake off excess water. Remove approximately 10 g of the uniformly stirred wash medium and apply it evenly to the sample. Place the brush at one end of the path. Wet the panel with 5 mL of water in the path of the brush.

Start testing. After 400 cycles, if there is no failure, remove the brush (do not rinse), add 10g of agitated cleaning agent again, add 5ml of water to the brush path, then continue to rub.

When a thin continuous line is rubbed on the copper strip with a width of 12.7 mm, record the number of cycles. If necessary, stop the machine and wipe the bilge area to determine if the end point has been reached.

Test two layers. If the two results differ by more than 30% from the average, test a third layer. The one with a tro gapsignificant p between the three results is discarded and the remaining results are averaged.

Test Method B

Mix the test paint and reference paint thoroughly to remove all air bubbles and particles. Follow the procedure described above and remove two layers side by side. Prepare three sets of sample panels for each test coating (including the reference coating). The coating should be removed at the same time as much as possible, and the coating part should be in the middle of the sample. Under bidDry under standard conditions for 7 days.

Place the sample plate and 2 copper strips in the same way as for method A and secure them.
