Xenon lamp aging test machine dental material color stability test

Author:QINSUN Released in:2023-08 Click:110

The xenon arc aging tester is a light aging test instrument, which can test the light aging properties of many materials such as textile materials and dental materials. Qisnun Precision Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. can provide xenon arc aging tester. Greet customers who need to inquire. In addition, Qisnun Technology Research and Development Engineer said that YY/T 0631-2008 stipulates the method for determining the color stability of dental materials after water immersion and light irradiation.

Test device:

The light source is a medium pressure xenon lamp and the color temperature is between 5000K and 10000K. Measured according to GB16422.2 , the illuminance of the sample must reach 150,000 lx ± 15,000 lx. Other light sources equivalent to xenon lamps mayalso be used.

After the xenon lamp and the ultraviolet filter have been used for 1500 hours, their luminous intensity will change due to aging and should be replaced in time. Use a lux meter to measure illuminance and adjust illuminance accordingly.

The ultraviolet filter is made of optical glass (borosilicate glass), the transmission of light waves below 300nm should be less than 1%, and the transmission of light waves above 270nm should be more than 90 %.

Test room:

Circulating water bath of distilled water or deionized water, the temperature is maintained at (37± 5) °C, the water surface is (10 ± 5) mm above the sample and the sample is placed parallel to the bottom of the test chamber. The specimen holders are made of an opaque material, are made of metal and can be used for conhold specimens up to 50 mm in diameter.

Test Steps:

① Sample Preparation The size, sample preparation method and conditions of each dental material standard control sample, as well as control sample products are specified. These standards should be used in conjunction with this standard.

② Half of the irradiated ation test sample is clamped with a sample holder or wrapped in tin or aluminum foil. For tooth specimens, wrap half of the dental vestibule with tin or aluminum foil parallel to the long axis of the tooth. Install an ultraviolet filter, put the sample in a water bath and irradiate the sample with a xenon lamp for (24 ± 1) h. Take care to avoid shadows on the specimen.

Color evaluation:

Three inspectors with normal color vision, oral observation of mirradiated half of the sample and the unirradiated half and any difference between the color of the unirradiated sample. . Examiners with normal color vision should be checked by a physician or other suitably trained person. Colorless vision correction glasses may be worn.

Comparisons should be made under diffused, bright north-facing daylight, not direct sunlight, or under a xenon lamp with an illuminance of 1000 lx ~ 2000 lx or a lamp equivalent in accordance with CIED65 without any perceptible effect. color reflection.

The disc-shaped sample is placed on a diffused white background with a reflectivity of approximately 90%. The background is the same size as the disk and the surrounding reflectance is (30 ± 5) % diffuse gray background around. Conodont samples, with a diffuse gray background with a reflectance of (30 ± 5)%. Let three observers observe at a distanceance of 200 mm to 300 mm from the sample for a maximum of 2 s.
