Balancing valve is divided into manual balancing valve and self-operated balancing valve.

Regardless of manual balancing valve or self-actuated balancing valve, their function is to increase the resistance at the proximal end of the heating system and limit the actual operating rate so as not to exceed the design rate;

In other words, its function is to free itself from the head resource of redundant pressure at the proximal end of the heating system, so that the electric control valve or temperature control valve can operate under a permitted resource pressure load. 
Therefore, manual balancing valves and self-operated balancing valves are auxiliary flow control devices for temperature control valves or electric control valves , but they are very importants. Or the design is unreasonable and neither the electric control valve nor the temperature control valve can work properly.

Manual balancing valve working principle
The manual balancing valve is a one-time manual adjustment, and cannot automatically change the resistance with changes in system conditions Coefficient, called static balance valve.
The object of the manual balancing valve is the resistance, which can play the role of a manually adjustable orifice plate to balance the resistance of the pipe network system and achieve the resistance balance of each loop.

It can solve the system steady-state unbalance problem: when the operating condition is different from the design condition, the circulating water volume is higher or lower than the design condition, because thebalancing valve balances system resistance;

The new volume of water can be distributed evenly according to the proportion calculated by the design, so that the flow rate of each branch will increase or decrease proportionally at the same time, and always respond to the corresponding flow requirements under the current load
