Qinsun Martindale Abrasion Resistance Tester is a testing equipment independently developed and produced by Qisnun Precision Mechanical and Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. It can test the abrasion resistance and pilling performance of various fabrics. Under a certain pressure, the sample and the abrasive undergo continuous reverse friction, and the degree of wear and pilling is evaluated by comparing it with standard parameters. Touch screen control with full programmer capable of pre-programming batch and total counts, counts set individually for each test head; 4 selectable speeds including standard speed.

Test principle:

The circular fabric sample is tested with standard abrasives under a certain pressure . For example, the motion paths of the (Lissajous) curves rub against each other, causing damage to the sample. The wear resistance of the fabric is expressed by the number of times the sample is damaged.
