This equipment applies a certain vertical pressure to the sample through a weight of known weight, then tests the maximum static friction force and the sliding friction force generated when the sample moves from relative rest to relative sliding, and the coefficient of static friction of the sample can be obtained. , dynamic friction coefficient.

Scope of use

Testing process
(1) Cut 3 pieces of samples of 8cm × 20cm and 100mm × 63mm from the sample surface to form 3 groups of samples . Do not touch the sample test surface with your hands during the cutting process.
(2) Take one of the 8 cm × 20 cm samples, with the inner surface of the sample facing upwards, and fix it on the horizontal testing platform. Take a sample piece of 100 mm × 63 mm. (6) Repeat (2) ~ (5) until 3 groups of samples are tested.

Test results
The dynamic and static friction coefficients between the inner surface of thethree groups of samples are 0.291 (static), 0.265 (dynamic); 0.283 (static), 0.257 (dynamic) respectively. ; 0.286 (static), 0.253 (dynamic).
