The multi-step compression instrument tests the settlement performance and pressure changes of liquid soil samples in a specific way under positive pressure. It mainly consists of three parts:
The mechanical part is composed of pillars, which transmit compressive force to the soil sample through the main axis;
The electronic part consists of data preprocessing, control and adjustment sensors, and motors;
Computers are used to control processes and process measurement data.
Applicable scope:
The compression force is provided by a stepper motor, which can operate at a linear speed of up to 50 mm/min, for pumping in or out compression force (0.1-2.5 mm/min). With? Taking 100mm as an example, the compression force can reach 10 kPa -800 kPa.
The control signal of the instrument is a force sensor with a measurement range within 10kN. The settlement performance of soil samples is detected by potential displacement sensors, and surface tension meters are connected to pressure sensors to record the actual water tension.
Different pressure levels are set by software based on loading time and speed. This software outputs measurement data in ASCII format and can also be used for sensor deviation calibration and motor control.
