Interpretation of the purge and leak detection of the refrigeration unit in the thermal shock test chamber

Author:QINSUN Released in:2023-05 Click:102

The thermal shock tester, also known as the thermal shock test chamber, is mainly used to simulate sudden changes in high temperature and low temperature environments, and can be used to detect changes physical and chemical caused by the thermal expansion and contraction of the elements in a short time, to observe the stability of the performance of the element.

The products are widely used in the industries of battery, metal, plastic, rubber, electronics, electricity and others, as important as aerospace component materials, car engine.
Purge and leak detection of refrigeration units in the cold and thermal shock test chamber:
1. Connect the pressure reducing valve to the nitrogen cylinder and connect the cylinder pressure reductione nitrogen to the ammonia addition valve of the system with a nitrogen hose;
2. Open all system valves except the valve to the atmosphere;
3. Open the ammonia and nitrogen valve, and fill the system with nitrogen to low pressure side test pressure 4. Close valve For ammonia valves and nitrogen valves, use a brush dipped in soapy water or detergent to coat all solder joints, pipe joints, flanges, valves and other connecting and sealing parts for leak detection;
5. Find out the leak point, after marking a batch of leak points, the operator of the thermal shock test chamber should be located in a safe position for the sewage discharge operation, and unscrew the screw cap at the lower part of the low-pressure circulating liquid tank (or gas-liquid separator) to discharge waste water and releaseNitrogen; 6. To repair leaks, screw on the threaded cap of the low-pressure circulating liquid reservoir (or gas-liquid separator) and fill with nitrogen gas. The operator is located at a safe position for sewage disposal operation and unscrews the screw cap at the bottom of the intercooler to discharge sewage and discharge Nitrogen;
7. Repeat both previous steps until there is no more vanishing point;
8. Close the liquid inlet valve and the oil discharge valve of the low pressure circulating liquid tank (or gas-liquid separator) and close the liquid discharge barrel. Liquid outlet valve and oil discharge valve, compressor suction valve and oil discharge valve fill the system. with nitrogen at the test pressure of the high pressure part; After marking a set of vanishing points, the operator places himself in a safe position forr the sewage disposal operation and unscrew the threaded plug at the bottom of the liquid sewer barrel to drain the sewage and release the nitrogen;
10. Repair leaks and screw the plug to liquid discharge barrel screw, fill with nitrogen, and the temperature shock test chamber operator is located in a safe position for the sewage discharge operation to unscrew the screw cap at the lower part of high pressure liquid tank, discharge sewage and release nitrogen;
11. Repeat the previous two steps until there is no longer a vanishing point.
