IFD Sponge Foam Stress Tester is a programmable logic controller (PLC) version, a PC-side ILD-IFD tester, equipped with a color touch screen. This tester consists of a \"bench top\" test set-up and a high-precision load cell. The test rig is 36\" wide by 26\" deep and uses a 200mm travel actuator assembly. High-precision load sensor, can provide required speed and load (maximum load capacity is 250 lbs). Built-in linear position sensors are used to automate programmed testsand move into position as needed.

The tester is custom-written for easy setup and operation of the test variables for each sample. Operators can perform D3574-08 B1 (Indentation Force Deflection Test - Detailed Deflection Description), D3574-08 B2 (Indentation Rest Gage Length Test - Detailed Description), Test C (Tear Resistance Test to create a standard test). and optional test E (voltage test and test). The tester is also equipped with a customizable screen to create tests based on other standards.
