Applicable scope:

The geotextile effective pore size tester is used for the determination of effective pore size of geotextiles and composite geotextiles using the dry sieve method.

Testing principle:

Using a single layer geotextile without tension and its related products as a sieve, test and calculate the sieving rate of the sample and graded granular material under the specified vibration frequency and amplitude.

Testing principle:

Using a single layer geotextile without tension and its related product samples as a sieve, water is sprayed on the samples and graded particle materials at the specified vibration frequency and amplitude, allowing the graded particle materials to pass through the samples. The effective pore size of the sample is represented by the particle material passing through and a specific particle size.
