The fabric surface moisture resistance tester is a testing equipment independently developed and produced by our company Qisnun Precision Mechanical and Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. It is cost-effective and has comprehensive after-sales service. It is used to determine the moisture resistance of the surface of fabrics that have or have not been treated with a water resistance or water repellent treatment. (water), evaluate the moisture resistance of the surface of masks, fabrics and other materials, and compare the sample surface with a standard table to evaluate the water repellency of the fabric surface. The equipment includes a metal frame that allows distilled water to be sprayed into the test through a nozzle. Sample at 45° and 150mm below the nozzle to compare the appearance of the sample with the optional photographic scale bar.

Operation steps:

1. Place the sample on a metal ring with a diameter of 152 mm, front side up, ensuring that the surface is smooth and free of wrinkles.

2. Place the metal ring with the sample on the tester storage table. When placing, pay attention to the position of the sample and ensure that the center of the sample ring is exactly aligned with the center of the spray ring. For some twill, quilted or similar striped structures, when the sample ring is placed on the stage, the direction of the stripess should be placed diagonally to the direction of water flow.

3. Pour 250ml of deionized water with a temperature of 27±1°C into the tester funnel and let it spray onto the sample within 25-30 seconds. When pouring deionized water, do not touch the beaker with the funnel. If the funnel moves, the pattern and shape of the sprayed sample will change. The spray time should be between 25 and 30 seconds, otherwise the nozzle should be checked to see if its hole is enlarged or clogged.

4. Hold one side of the sample ring, place the sample face down, and quickly tap the other side against a hard object. Then rotate the sample horizontally 180°, hold the original sampling point, and quickly tap the original holding area again to remove unwetted water droplets on the sample surface.
