1. Scope of application:

Martindale Abrasion Tester is suitable for testing the abrasion resistance of woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics, decorative materials, coated fabrics, etc. and the apparent pilling performance test.

Third, working principle :

The tissue to be tested is mounted in the upper sample holder and rubbed against abrasives mounted on the grinding table. The friction trajectory is a Lissajous figure. After the specified friction phase according to the test requirements, remove the fabric and calculate the abrasion resistance index or evaluate the fuzzing and pilling level of the sample through visual description.
