Experimental steps:

1. Voltage

Pass the welding rod through the button under buttonhole test (buttons with four holes pass through two diagonal buttonholes; buttons with phandles pass through the knob handle). Install the button and welding rod on the tensiometer, gradually increase the pressure lPress the button until the button or button handle breaks, and record the number of Newtons of pressure. The remaining button samples are tested using the same method.

Calculate the average pressure and record the maximum and minimum values.

It shows that usually large and small values ​​do not exceed 25% of the average. For example, if the average is 100N, the error should not exceed the minimum value of 75N and the maximum value of 125N.

2. Impact force

Fix the button to be tested on a suitably sized clamp, facing the pendulum. Four-hole knobs have two exposed holes and two-hole knobs have one exposed hole. After securing the button, close the clamp and use the included screwdriver to install all componentson the collider table. When testing buttons smaller than 15mm, lift the pendulum to position 2. Large buttons should go to position 1.

Release the handle, release the pendulum and press the button. Note if the buttons appear to be broken, cracked or warped. Repeat the test until all button samples are tested.
