Description of the experiment:

1. Place the lithium battery or the test battery pack in a wire mesh. , the wire mesh is placed over a round hole 102 mm (4 inches) in diameter. The wire mesh was made of 20 mesh per inch wire 0.017\" (0.43mm) diameter.

2. The wire mesh is placed approximately 38 mm above the flame.

3. Cover the sample with aluminum meshoctagonal. The specifications of the aluminum mesh are: the distance between the two sides parallel to each other is (610±10)mm, and the height is (305±5)mm. The specification of aluminum wire mesh is aluminum wire diameter 0.25mm, mesh number 16~18

4. Make sure the test sample is heated on the steel wire mesh until it explodes or on the lithium battery (battery) is ignited and burned.
