Automotive interior combustion tester GB8410 test method

Author:QINSUN Released in:2023-08 Click:109

The automobile interior combustion tester is an experimental instrument for measuring the combustion characteristics of automobile interior materials. The test experiment is carried out according to the GB8410 test method. complete.

Main parameters:

1. Flame application time: 0-999.9s±0.1s adjustable;

2. Burning time delayed: 0-99h59m59. 99s±0.1s, manual start/pause;

3. Installation of the combustion box: the bottom of the combustion box is 10mm from the bottom plate of the equipment;

4. Wind speed test: 100mm before and after the combustion box, the air is vertical The flow speed is between 0.10m/s and 0.30m/s, and an anemometer is added and modified on the right side of the equipment to monitor the output.

GB8410 test method:

Fix the specimen horizontally on the U-row bracket, in the com boxAfter ignition the free end of the sample with a flame of a specified height for 15s, determine whether the flame on the sample is extinguished or when it goes out, as well as the distance traveled by the sample and the time it takes to burn that distance.

Calculation of burning rate (V):

V=60×(L/T)

V burning rate, in millimeters per minute ( mm/min );

L is the burning distance, in millimeters (mm);

T is the time to burn the distance L, in seconds (s).

Technical requirements of GB8410 test:

Burning speed is not more than 100mm/min.

Automotive interior materials refer to the organic composite single or layered materials used in the cabin and passenger cabin parts, including: cushions, seat backs, seat covers, seat belts, head restraints, armrests, retractable roof, alls decorative interior linings (including interior door panels, cowl panels, side panels, rear panel panels, headliner, etc.), dashboard, glove boxes, interior shelves Organic materials used for panels (including rear window sill panels), curtains, floor liners, sun visors, wheel arch liners, bonnet liners and padding to absorb crash energy in the event of a crash, damping devices, etc.
