Main application:
The taber wear tester/leather wear tester is used to test the wear resistance of leather and plastic materials, and is often used to test textiles Professional product wear performance testing equipment.

Test principle:
Use different types of friction wheels in the samples are rotated to test the abrasion resistance of leather and plastic materials. Select the default applicable weight set for testing material properties. Used to detect weight loss on the outer surface of the sample, such as obvious mechanical damage.

Operation steps:
Step 1, wear-resistant friction wheelcocorrection
A: Elastic (rubber) friction wheel correction
(1) New The grinding disc uses 2 sheets of sandpaper and each sandpaper is rotated 50 revolutions;
(2) If the grinding wheel used has less than 1000 revolutions, pre-sharpen 25 revolutions or 50 revolutions (recommended 25 revolutions); if it is greater than or equal to 1000 revolutions Pre-grind 50 revolutions.
(3) For every 1000 revolutions of the friction wheel during the test, 25 revolutions or 50 revolutions are required for pre-grinding.
B: Ceramic Friction Wheel Calibration
Unless the surface of the friction wheel is defective or otherwise damaged, pre-grinding is not required; use a vacuum cleaner to remove the abrasive particles on the surface every 300 revolutions in normal testing.
Sampling: 150mm*150mm, 5 pieces (actual sampling 100cm2), for samples with width less than 125mm,use the whole door width test.
The specific operation of the second step:
1. Set the corresponding grinding wheel and load according to requirements. Grind the substance to a specific end point and record the final number of revolutions; the endpoint may include Pass/Fail criteria such as: loss of breaking strength, yarn breakage, coating/gloss/color loss, pilling and other appearance changes; if customers have their own requirements, which can be used as an end point according to customer requirements.
2. Record the number of revolutions at the end of the sample and take the average of 5 samples.
