Operation:
Before loading the sample, the bar must be placed on thecorrect height depending on the thickness of the sample. The precision cutting tool is installed on the beam and placed on the sample. By varying the load on the cutting tool, you can assess the shear or scratch resistance of the material.
The beam design of the instrument allows it to be leveled with the sample and turntable and raised or lowered as needed. In addition, the weigh bar can also be lifted and suspended in the air to assist the operator in removing the sample. By changing the position of the sliding weight, the total load of the sample can be adjusted in the range of 0-1000 g. Cutting tools can choose to use carbide cutters or conical zhan stones.
The test results can be assessed visuallyimage using the 10x magnifying glass equipped with the machine, and the user can also use a high-precision optical microscope to observe.
