Five-finger scraping method:

That is, five metal finger-shaped scraping heads are scratched on the surface of the material under different loads to form scratches, and the visibility of the scratches are compared visually.

Testing steps:

Before the experiment, the sample is fixed on the test bench and a highly polished tungsten carbide scraper head is fixed on top of the scraper rod, with a diameter of 1mm or 7mm, the other end of the scraper bar is fixed with a weight, and the installation position, quantity and load of the scraper bar are determined depending on sample size and test requirements. The scraping distance is generally fixed at 100mm~200mm, and the scraping speed is 100mm/s.

Evaluation of the test:

After the test is completed, it is necessary to be in a well-lit environment, usually northern sunlight or a standard D65 light source , to visually inspect the scratches, which pcan be changed by changing the sample and The viewer\'s angle causes the scratch line to appear at a clearly visible angle. Exclude 10% of the range at both ends of the scratch start point and end point when evaluating, i.e. take only the middle 80% range as the effective evaluation area.

Test method:

The instrument automatically guides the movement of the scraper head, the speed is 1000mm/min, the distance between the scratches isof 2 mm and the length is 40 mm. At least 20 scratches are scraped in one direction, then the sample is rotated 90 degrees, repeating the above in the vertical direction process, forming a criss-cross grid mark scratch. Draw a grid on the surface of the material with a fixed load and spacing, measure the color change at scratch, and use the degree of bleaching to characterize the scratch resistance of the material.

Test evaluation:

Test the L value (the depth of the reaction color L) before and after the scratch by the colorimeter, and calculate the AL*, plus l \'AL* is larger value is The more obvious the whitening of the color after scratching, the worse the scratch resistance of the material. It is more objective to use the instrumental measurement method to evaluate test results. At present, the grid scraping test method has been widely used.
