Schopper Abrasion Tester (Schopper Abrasion Tester)

For fabrics, abrasion resistance is an important index to measure performance and durability. During the test, apply friction in the tangential direction to the rotating sample through the friction element to measure the wear resistance of the sample.

The Schober Abrasion Tester can be used to test the appearance change of the sample after the friction or wear test. It is recommended by DIN 53863.2, GME Standard 60345, GMW Standard 3283, VW/Audi Zentral- Standard PV 3908 test method.

Instructions for use:

The control menu is displayed on a touchscreen with options for manual or automatic operation. After every 100 friction cycles, the instrument automatically stops so that the operator can change the direction of rotation.
