During the test, friction is applied to the rotating sample in the tangential direction through the friction component to measure the wear resistance of the sample. Operation steps:
1. Install the temperature and humidity treated sample with attached accessories on the sample holder to form a rotating test head and adjust it according to standards or other requirements The protruding height of the test head is generally 5-8mm;
2. Install the test head with sample on the test head installation plate on the instrument workbench, and use the locating pin on the installation plate to install and tighten the test head in conjunction with the locating hole below. the test head;
3. Use the friction device located on the pressure plate of the instrument to iInstall the friction sandpaper on the bottom surface of the pressure plate and lock it. The clamp ensures the sandpaper is tight and installed flat;
4. Manually pull the pressure plate lifting lock located on the right side of the pressure plate outward, lower the pressure plate and put the sandpaper in contact with the surface of the sample on the test head;
5. Install a weight of corresponding weight on the weight shaft above the pressure plate so that it exerts some pressure on the friction of the sample. The required pressure value is selected based on the weight of the sample per unit area.
