Mask inspection method:

  1. When you get the mask, first look at the packaging. It is not damaged, the mask is flat, there is no stains, oils, etc. on the surface, and the bridge of the nose is not exposed. There is no shortage of various components of the mask (especially the nose bridge and ear straps of the mask). Cut the disposable mask. The regular medical disposable mask has three layers. If it is found to be two layers after cutting, it is unqualified. During the wearing process, whether there is any discomfort, and whether there is any allergies on the face.
  2. Extend the ear strap cord by hand to check the quality of the welding point. The bonding surface of the solder joints is uniform and the position is neat. If the welding spot is round, it can basically be judged as manual welding, and there may be several workers in contact. If the welding is square, it can basically be judged as equipment welding, and the quality of the solder joints is stable. If the solder joints are round or square, it can be judged as a mask that is artificially repaired (the ear straps are not welded firmly, and they are manually reprocessed).
  3. You can test the water permeability of the mask. The impermeable ones basically contain a melt blown layer. At the same time, cut the open cover to check the number of mask layers, and conduct an ignition test on the melt blown cloth. If it cannot burn, it can be judged as a melt blown cloth.
  4. Prepare paper towels, tear the paper towels into pieces, the more shred the better, and then pile them into a pile, then take the mask for testing, put it on the pile of paper, cover the outside on the shredded paper, wait for 2 seconds to look over the opening cover Whether the paper scraps can be adsorbed, it can prove that the mask is effective, if not, the middle layer of the mask is either a melt blown cloth or an invalid mask. Melt blown cloth determines whether the mask has a protective effect. The static electricity on it determines the life of the mask. So if the mask cannot absorb paper scraps, then the mask does not have static electricity. A mask without static electricity is scrapped and cannot be used anymore.
