1. The winding is shorted.

When the running winding or start winding is shorted, the shorted coil generates a lot of heat and emits noise. Continuous operation without heat dissipation will cause the motor to overheat and damage unshorted windings. Therefore, when the engine is overheated, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and corresponding measures should be taken according to the specific repair situation.

2. The winding is grounded.

When the grounding is serious, the consequence is the same as that of a short circuit. If it is light, the motor will overheat, and if it is severe, the winding will be burned.

3. Run winding and start winding are shorted.

When the start winding and the start winding touch the line and the short circuit, the current circule in the start winding through the start winding, and the start winding will turn off after a long time. Find where the wire touches, the two windings can be separated from the motor terminals, then one end of the inspection lamp is connected to the running winding, and the other end is connected to the start winding. If the control lamp is on, it means that both windings are short-circuited. Then disconnect each pole of the running winding from the starting winding in turn. If the inspection lamp goes out when a certain pole is disconnected, it means that the pole winding and the start winding are short-circuited. Find where the wire touches and wrap it around for insulation. If you still cannot determine where the line touches, you can only disassemble the coil from the start winding for inspection.

4. The bearing is damaged olack of fat.

If the bearing is damaged, the stator and rotor will rub against each other, or the lack of grease in the bearing will cause the motor to overheat. Check the bearing, if there is a lack of grease, add an appropriate amount of grease; if the bearing is worn or damaged, replace the bearing.

5. Overload.

When the motor is overloaded, the motor overheats due to the overcurrent of the winding. If the load is too heavy but cannot be adjusted, replace the motor with a higher horsepower. If the overload is caused by collision, jamming, etc. internal parts of the engine, the mechanical part of the engine must be overhauled.
