Diaphragm Vacuum Pump Installation Steps

1. The diaphragm vacuum pump should be installed in a solid place with a solid ground and there should be enough space around it for easy inspection and maintenance.

2. The base of the diaphragm vacuum pump must maintain the level of the foundation. It is recommended to pad shock-absorbing rubber on the four corners of the base or install it with bolts to ensure that the diaphragm vacuum pump runs smoothly and has little vibration;

3. The pipe connection between the diaphragm vacuum pump and the system must be tight and reliable. For small diaphragm vacuum pumps, metal tubing can be used to connect the seal withoil-resistant rubber, and for small diaphragm vacuum pumps, vacuum hoses can be used for connection;

The diameter of the pipeline should not be smaller than the suction diameter of the diaphragm vacuum pump, and the pipe should be short and have few bends. (When welding the pipeline, the weld slag in the pipeline should be removed, and the weld slag is strictly prohibited from entering the cavity of the diaphragm vacuum pump.)

4. In the pipeline connection, the user can install it above the air inlet of the diaphragm vacuum pump. Valves and vacuum gauges can check the limit pressure of the diaphragm vacuum pump at any time.

5. Connect the power supply according to the regulations on the motor label and install the ground wire, fuse and thermal relay to the appropriate specifications.

6. LWhen the diaphragm vacuum pump is energized for trial operation, the motor belt must be removed to confirm that the diaphragm vacuum pump rotates in the specified direction before it can be used to prevent the vacuum pump diaphragm to inject oil in the opposite direction. (Facing the direction indicated by the protective cover)

7. For diaphragm vacuum pumps with cooling water, turn on the cooling water as required.

8. If a solenoid valve is installed on the port of the diaphragm vacuum pump, the valve and the diaphragm vacuum pump must act simultaneously.

9. When the exhaust gases from the diaphragm vacuum pump affect the working environment, a pipe can be installed at the exhaust port to exhaust or an oil mist filter can be installed.
