Influence of structural parameter variation of nonwovens on textile conductivity

Traditional woven and knitted fabrics are based on fiber aggregates (yarns or filaments) that are interwoven or woven together to form a regular geometric structure.

The warp yarns in the woven fabric are interwoven and extruded, which has good ability to resist deformation by external force, so the mechanism of the woven fabric is generally relatively stable, but the stretchability is poor. In knitted fabrics, the yarns form a loop structure and are connected to each other. When an external force is applied, the yarns forming the loops have a certain degree of transferability between each other, so knitted fabrics generally have good stretchability.

Non-woven materials are very different from traditional textiles. The basic requirement of the non-woven process is to let the fibers form a fiber aggregate (fiber web) after the distribution of some fibers. Typical nohe-woven materials usually have a network structure composed of single fibers. to achieve structural stability, it must be strengthened by bonding, thermal bonding, mechanical entanglement, etc. Polymeric conductive fabrics at home and abroad are mainly in woven and knitted fabrics, and there is no related research on polyvalent conductive nonwovens.
