Abrasion is one of the main causes of damage to textiles such as clothing, bedding, sofa covers, carpets, etc. It directly affects the durability of the fabric. Taber abrasion tester is mainly used for leather, leather, fabric, paint, paper, floor, plywood, glass, case of naturalrubber, carpet, clothing, glass, plastic Coatings, ceramic tiles, metal mv paints, varnishes, decorative foils, high voltage foils, plastics, textiles, resilient floor mats, traffic paints, anodizing, blankets, electronic components, decorative panels, wax, labels, leather covers, dental materials, car interior decoration, resin, furniture and scientific research laboratories, commodity inspection arbitration, technical supervision departments, etc. to test the performance of leather products.

Principle of operation:

Use a standard cutter to cut the test piece, use a specified type of grinding wheel, and load a certain weight worn away and the sample is taken out after the specified number of revolutions, and the condition of the sample after grinding or the difference between the weight of the sample before the test and the weight after the test is observed.

Test Process:

1. Bereid the material on the testing machine and prepare a sample knife (knife)

3. Place the removed material on the taber abrasion testing machine and fix the material.

4. After fixing the material, add a certain standard weight, and put down the grinding wheel and weight.

5. After setting the number of tests to run, turn on the start button.

6. After the number of times is completed, the abrasion tester will stop automatically.

7. After the wear test machine has stopped, remove the material to see if there is any damage.

Note:

1. When turning on the power, be sure to set the number of tests to run.

2. After loading the test material, select the appropriate grinding wheel.

3. After installing the correct grinding wheel, make sure that youchoose the weights.

4. After the test material has been tested, the dust on it should be checked before weighing.

Martindale wear tester is mainly used in textile, footwear, clothing and other industries. Applicable to GB/T13775, ASTM D4966, ISO12947 and other fabric abrasion resistance tests. The main principle is that the round sample is rubbed under a certain pressure against the fabric of the same material with the trajectory of the Lissajous figure, and after reaching the specified number of revolutions, the pilling level of the sample is evaluated. During the test, pay attention to the following details:

1. During the test, pay attention to the balance of the test machine.

2. The testing machine must first finish all materials before turning on the power of the testing machine.

3. After powering up the testing machine, set the number of tests to run.

4. Pay close attention to whether the test is installed.

Maintenance:
