Main layout
1. Solenoid valves are basically divided into three categories:
Direct acting solenoid valve
Principle: When energized, the solenoid coil generates electromagnetic force to lift the closing element from the valve seat, and the valve moves Open; when the power is turned off, the electromagnetic force disappears and the spring presses the closing element onto the valve seat and the valve closes.
Features: It can work normally under vacuum, negative pressure and zero pressure, but the diameter generally does not exceed 25mm.
Step-by-step direct acting solenoid valve
Principle: It is a combination of direct actingand pilot operated principle where there is no pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet, the solenoid valve The force will directly lift the small pilot valve and the main valve closing member in turn, and the valve opens. When the inlet and outlet reach the starting pressure difference, after the power is turned on, the electromagnetic force controls the small valve, the pressure in the lower cavity of the main valve rises, and the pressure in the upper cavity falls, so that the main valve is pushed up by the differential pressure; when the power is off, the pilot valve uses a spring force or medium pressure pushes the closing member, which moves down and closes the valve.
Features: It can also work safely under zero pressure differential or vacuum or high pressure, but the power is relatively large and it needs to be installed horizontally.
Pilot-operated solenoid valve
Principle: When energized, the electromagnetic force opens the pilot hole, the pressure in the upperchamber drops rapidly and a pressure difference arises between the upper and lower chamber formed around the closing part and the liquid. The pressure pushes the closing part to move up, and the valve opens; when the power is off, the spring force closes the guide hole, and the inlet pressure quickly passes through the bypass hole to form a pressure differential around the shutoff member, and the fluid pressure pushes the shutoff member down to close the valve.
Features: The upper limit of the liquid pressure range is relatively high, and it can be installed arbitrarily (customization is required), but the condition of the liquid pressure difference must be met.
2. Solenoid valves are divided into six subcategories according to the difference of valve structure and material and principle: direct-acting diaphragm structure, step-by-step direct-acting diaphragm structure, pilot diaphragm structure, direct-acting piston structure, step-by-step direct-acting piston structurehours, pilot piston structure.
3.
