Bed Blanket Flammability Tester Operation Test

Bed Blanket Flammability Tester is a test equipment independently developed and produced by qisnun Precision Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. It conforms to the relevant test standards of ASTM D4151 and is used to test the flame retardancy of plush fabrics such as blankets. Ignite the sample and the test paper mounted on the sample holder with a standard flame for 1 second to complete the test. The samples were evaluated by observing the change in the test paper.

Principle of the test:

Burn the surface of the sample with a standardized flame within the specified time, so as to observe the burning, damage or discoloration of the test paper standard, then test fabrics are graded.

Main parameters:

1. No. 18 needle flame, adjustable flame length;

2. Ignition time can be set freely, with a high degree of automation;

3. Automatic timing, timing accuracy 0.1s;

4. Flow meter range: 0~60cc/min;

5. Equipped of butanee tank for gas supply unit without the need for large gas tanks or gas tanks.

Operation steps:

1. Place the assembled and dried sample (sample holder) on the on the sample shelf.

Tip: If the sample has been pretreated, the test operation should start at this point. The standard states that the test should be started within 30 seconds of the sample exiting the desiccator.

Tips: Before testing, please make sure that the specimen has been properly installed on the test frame and the correct automatic flame impact time has been set to 1s.
