Operation method of Electronic single fiber strength tester

Test procedures of breaking force：
Electronic single fiber strength tester is used to determine the breaking force and elongation at break of single textile fibers, such as, cotton, wool, ramie, silk, glass fiber and chemical fiber. We adopt precise load cell, super subdivision stepper motor, precise ball screw and manual clamp or pneumatic clamp for your choice.

Test procedures:
1.Set testing parameters (Tensile speed, specimen initial length, etc.)
2.Clamp the specimen.
3.Place the specimen in upper clamp and tighten the screw.
4.Hold the pretension clip at the lower end of the specime
5.Place the specimen in lower clamp and tighten the screw.

Start test：
Press the green button on the instrument to start the test and the clamp will stretch at the preset speed until the specimen breaks. At this point, the clamp will return to the initial position automatically and the test results are displayed on the interface, including the breaking force, elongation at break, elongation rate, etc. When multiple specimens are tested, instrument will automatically calculate the max, min, average value, as the figure shown.
